ACACI - Asociación Ciudadana Afectados Cistitis Intersticial-Síndrome Dolor Vesical




ACACI is a non-profit association of patients formed in 2006 by affected and family/friends of affected from Interstitial Cystitis / Bladder Pain Syndrome throughout the country. Their mission is to help and personally advise all those who have CI/SDV to obtain a quick diagnosis and report the possible treatments most appropriate to their condition. 

The objective of the association are:

  • Contribute to the best knowledge of the disease so that people can know their diagnosis and its treatment as accurately and in the shortest time possible.
  • Collaborate in the reduction of time between diagnose and therapy.
  • Ensure access to diagnostic evaluation and treatments.
  • Cooperate in promoting good practices in treatments.
  • Organize conferences, workshops, talks, meetings with professionals specialized in urology, gynecology, psychiatry and psychology for our partners in order to facilitate access to adequate and up-to-date information on the treatments available.
