SIP Finland - organisational meeting
On 29th March the Finnish Pain Association, the Finnish Musculoskeletal Association and the Finnish Study of Pain organised a debate with the candidates of the upcoming election for the Finnish Parliament.The Meeting was organised at the Little Parliament and hosted by MFP Sari Sarkomaa. Special guest MEP Sirpa Pietikäinen opened the Event.
Six candidates from different parties attended event where following topics were discussed in a spirit of how to bring pain on the political agenda in the months of the National and European elections and afterwards.
- relevance of ICD11 for pain
- rehabilitation of pain patients
- petitions for pain treatment and education
- need of legislation and decisions for part-time workers suffering from chronic pain
The panel discussions were streamed live on the Facebook page of the association.
