TV and Radio Report with Bart Morlion

Chronic Pain and its costs in Belgium

In Europe, 1 in 4 people suffer from such pain that sometimes persists for years, and according to pain doctor Griet Brusselmans, that figure is similar for Belgium. This requires a lot of money from the Belgian state. Last year alone it costed an estimated 11.6 billion euros.

On 23 January 2012 a news bulletin appeared on the Belgian public TV channel "VRT". The report includes comments from Dr. Bart Morlion (head of the Belgian Change Pain Steering Committee) and Prof. Lieven Annemans on chronic pain in Belgium.

On this date, a radio interview also was held  on the same topic with Bart Morlion.
