SIP Finland kick-off meeting

SIP National, Finland

On 26 April, representatives of SIP Europe, national stakeholders and members of the SIP Partners at national level came together to kick off a SIP national platform in Finland. The objective has been to build on the existing collaboration among pain healthcare professionals and patient groups active in Finland, to discuss first steps to create a Finnish SIP national platform and to define the next steps in the process of pursuing common pain policies in Finland.

Finnish stakeholders shared their views on health and pain policy gaps in the country and the current SIP related activities in Finland in the area of pain education and pain&employment.

Other SIP national platforms were given as an example of a successful collaboration between patient organisations, government and other stakeholders.

You can find the presentation from the meeting attached here.
