National Pain Plan survey 2014
SIP Europe
In 2011 the symposium of “Societal Impact of Pain” (SIP 2011), took place in the European parliament and one of the most important outcomes was the Road Map for Action. Based on the roadmap, in 2011 was launched a National Pain Plan Survey, in which 36 countries participated.
After the first survey in 2011, a second edition was launched in 2014 to measure the progress of the Road Map implementation from 2011. The results were presented at the SIP 2016 Symposium by Chris Wells, EFIC. The next steps for faster and broader implementation were also included and discussed at the Plenary session.
