Hear from one of the winners of the BMP Grant 2020: #RompeConElDolor project

Pain Alliance Europe

On the 24th of June 2020, the winners of the second edition of the Brain, Mind, and Pain Grant with the theme "STOP Stigma! Reduce stigma to improve quality of life for brain, mind, and pain patients" were announced.

Now is the time to discover more about one of the winners of the BMP Grant 2020: the project #RompeConElDolor from the Spanish Diabetes Federation.

This project aims to stimulate a debate about chronic pain in diabetes and other chronic diseases, and to raise awareness about its real implications on people that suffer from pain and, consequently, to normalise it, and break the stigma that surrounds it.

The Spanish Diabetes Federation will launch a specific section of the campaign on their main website, that will work as a virtual meeting point. Here patients with chronic pain will be able to view information and short videos with key messages, forming a great encyclopedia on chronic pain and diabetes.

On social media, the Federation will launch the #RompeConElDolorChallenge, where people will be able to share their experiences in different channels such as Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook.
