Health at a Glance: Europe 2018 Report

Look at the new Health at a Glance: Europe 2018 report, which has just been launched. The report is the result of a closer collaboration between the OECD and the European Commission to improve country-specific EU-wide knowledge on health issues.

The topics selected for the special chapters for this edition are mental health and wasteful spending in health systems that could be put to smarter use. The Health at a Glance: Europe report, published every even-numbered year, is the first deliverable in the State of Health in the EU cycle and presents a quantitative, horizontal analysis identifying both the strengths and the opportunities for improvement in EU health systems. The second deliverable of the cycle are the Country Health Profiles, published in odd-numbered years, which provide country-specific snapshots of a population's state of health and key risk factors. In this years report you can find “pain” on pages 150, 185 and 188.

Please find the summary of the report in English as a document on this page. If you would like to read the full report, you can do so on the OECD website.
