EU-OSHA launched Healthy Workplaces Campaign 2020-2022
The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work launched Healthy Workplaces Campaign 2020-2022, which focuses on work-related musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). The campaign provides information, resources, events, and best practice tips on how to protect workers by preventing and managing MSDs. The priority area for the first 3 months of the campaign is ‘prevention’.

Along with the launching of the campaign, on the 22nd October, EU-OSHA held a webinar on work-related MSDs prevalence, prevention, and policy, unveiled the results of multiannual research on work-related MSDs. According to EU-OSHA's research, backache (43%) is the most common form of MSD, the condition can affect all areas of the body. Muscular pain in the upper (41%) and lower (29%) body also affects a large section of the workforce.
