Pain to be main focus in health policy

Huge suffering, enormous costs - national pain plan needed!

Berlin, 27 august. On occasion of the current response by the German Gederal Goverment to the "small question" by SPD-federal opposition with regard to the management of chronic pain patient ("Versorgungslage chronisch schmerzkranker Menschen" (vgl. BT-DRs. 17/14357), the German Pain Society (Deutsche Schmerzgesellschaft, SIP Endorser 2011-2013) demands the Federal Government and the federal states to develop a national action plan against pain during the upcoming legislative period.
