Better conditions for pain therapists in Germany

The National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians KBV, based in Berlin, is the co-ordinating body of the about 150,000 office-based physicians' and psychotherapists' organised in self-administration; as such the KBV co-ordinates the activities and remuneration of the 17 State Associations of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians in Germany. The negotiations were supported by the professional association of doctors and psychological psychotherapists in pain and palliative medicine in Germany (BVSD).
