SIP Thematic Network 2018 - Joint Statement

Endorse the Joint Statement!

We have finalised the Joint Statement offering recommendations for action to policymakers and all other stakeholders to address the challenges and the policies gaps in addressing pain identified in the Framing Paper. We now need to gather all pain stakeholders around the recommendations we put forward in our SIP Joint Statement. This way we can make sure that policymakers take note of all our hard work. Please find the final Joint Statement in attachment for your convenience.

If you have not yet endorsed the SIP Joint Statement and Framing Paper, there is still time. Here are our important milestones:

  • 31st October 2018: Contributions to SIP Joint Statement closed, but endorsements remain open
  • 12th November 2018: Presentation of the SIP Joint Statement to the European Commission
  • 21st November 2018: Presentation of the Joint Statement at the MEP Interest Group on Brain, Mind and Pain meeting in the European Parliament
