POSTPONED - BMP MEP Interest Group: Digital Transformation of Health in the EU

The event has been postponed until further notice, the new date will be announced soon, but your completed registration will be kept on file for the new date!

What impact for those living with brain, mind and pain disorders?

A breakfast meeting of the MEP Interes Group on Brain, Mind and Pain will take place on March 17th between 8:00 and 9:30 at the European Parliament with co-host the EPP Group in the European Parliament. Important for this meeting is the European Commission’s communication on “Enabling the digital transformation of health and care in the Digital Single Market; empowering citizens and building a healthier society”, as well as the Parliament’s motion for a resolution on the same topic that was published in December 2019.

Therefore, this meeting would like to explore how the organisations can best optimise these frameworks and arising policy actions to improve the quality of life of those living with neurological disorders and chronic pain conditions, as well as empowering and involving patients more meaningfully in their own healthcare. The draft agenda is attached.

If you would like to attend the meeting, please register by completing the online registration form before March 6th. For any further questions, do not hesitate to get in touch with Tadeusz Hawrot at: advocacy@efna.net

Location: ASP 0G Salon, European Parliament
