5th European Academy of Neurology Congress

If you are one of the 6,700 visitors who attended our 4th congress in Lisbon last month, thank you for joining us and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. If you were unable to participate this time, save the date for next year’s EAN congress in Oslo.

We invite you to watch the Lisbon congress sessions via live webcasts.

During the congress, many participants applied for EAN membership and we were delighted to welcome our 1,000th member. If you are interested in meeting like-minded people and becoming part of our great community, pick your perfect membership package.

The 5th EAN congress takes place in Oslo, June 29 – July 2, 2019 with the overarching theme Neuroinflammation – Science. Synergies. Solutions.

The role of neuro-inflammatory processes is a hot topic for both understanding neurological diseases and developing new therapies for them. Oslo, the cosmopolitan capital of Norway, is one of Europe’s fastest-growing cities. And with Norway’s longstanding traditions in neuroscience and clinical neurology, we look forward to another dynamic and memorable event.

Registration and abstract submission open in Autumn 2018. Being a Full Member brings many advantages, also for the congress, click here to find out more about their benefits. Please be sure to always use the official EAN congress website for registration and travel planning.

Find the scientific programme with the first three sessions on the official EAN congress page. We are pleased to announce the Named Lectures 2019

Brain Prize Lecture with Bart De Strooper from Leuven, Belgium.
Edouard Brown-Séquard Lecture with Ulrich Dirnagl from Berlin, Germany.
Moritz Romberg Lecture with Pamela Shaw from Sheffield, United Kingdom.
