POSTPONED: Belgian Pain Society Annual Scientific Congress

"Chronic pain: primary, secondary & tertiary prevention"

The annual Belgian Pain Society scientific congress has been postponed for December 5th in Brussels. The plenary session will start at 9 am and will focus on prevention of back pain, importance and assessment of rehabilitation and risk factors for the development of chronic (neuropathic) pain.

After the plenary sessions, a ceremony for the BPS Awards Prize Giving will be held by André Mouraux and followed by workshops in the afternoon. Attendees will be able to choose between 3 workshops to participate in, which will focus on: 1) patient education, 2) absenteeism and and work disability due to chronic pain and 3) the role of algology in the prevention of pain.
