The congress aims to identify major research questions in the field of pain, to promote debate and foster collaboration. Speakers will be challenged to go beyond the state of the art and outside their comfort zone to identify the key knowledge gaps and research opportunities that transcend traditional disciplinary and methodological boundaries. The congress will feature two innovative concepts.
Resource market:  In this special poster session senior scientists and clinicians can present their group, cohorts, methods, career opportunities – in short, anything that is useful for other scientists and clinicians. (see Special Sessions for further Details)
User participation workshop: This workshop will provide a unique opportunity for patients, patient advocacy groups, health administrators, and researchers to share experiences and develop models for user involvement in research. (see Special Sessions for further Details)
Speakers: More than twenty internationally renowned speakers from the five Nordic countries and the UK, representing the disciplines of Medicine, Nursing, Psychology, Physiotherapy, Biology, Statistics, Engineering, and Economy.
PhD Course (April 3rd): Key lectures on methodology. Tour of basic science and human experimental labs. PhD students present their work and receive constructive feedback from senior scientists. To gain maximum benefit participants should submit an abstract (see Abstracts).

The World Congress on Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis and Musculoskeletal Diseases just took place from April 19 to April 22, 2018 in the beautiful city of Krakow, Poland.
This 18th Edition of the WCO-IOF-ESCEO Congress was, once again, a very huge success: • 3965 delegates took part in the largest event in the field of osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, frailty and sarcopenia. • The Scientific Advisory Committee, co-chaired by Professor René Rizzoli and Professor Cyrus Cooper, had an extremely difficult task, to select oral presentations, among 1513 submitted abstracts of the highest quality. • 565 awards were distributed during the Congress.
For the 19th Edition which will take place in Paris, France from April 4 to April 7, 2019, the members of the Committee of Scientific Advisors of the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) and the Scientific Advisory Board of the European Society for Clinical and Economic Aspects of Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis (ESCEO) are developing a very exciting Congress’ scientific programme that will bring together the world’s best in the field of musculoskeletal health and disease.
We really hope to welcome you in Paris, France and that this Congress will move the field one step forward on all fronts; from new understanding of bone metabolism and pathology, to new strategies and options in prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
The city of Paris offers a most convenient and pleasant setting for international congresses. We hope that you will also take the opportunity to explore its many attractions!

The German Society for Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine (DGAI) invites you to the German Anesthesiology Congress (DAC) 2019.
All areas of their field face the possibilities and challenges of taking up the advancements of medicine and using them for the benefit of the patients. For years, there has been a tension between the demands of a high degree of specialization in various clinical areas and the availability of resources. The socio-economic working conditions, the lack of staff in the medical and nursing service and the high demands placed on the medical and nursing qualifications place high demands on organizational management. In addition, there is the constant increase in medical knowledge in this field as well as in all disciplines with which the Society cooperates in a variety of ways.
