The Societal Impact of Pain (SIP) Events

Bringing together multi-stakeholders from all over Europe

The SIP platform aims at providing the opportunity for exchange of information & best practices, discussion and content development in task-oriented working groups.

Stakeholders from all over Europe are invited to actively participate: Once a year politicians, budget holders, decision makers, HTA bodies, health care professionals, pain advocacy groups, etc. are gathering for the annual SIP symposium to make aware of the societal impact of pain in Europe and to develop and foster European-wide policy strategies & activities for an improved pain care in Europe.

All information on the first, second and third SIP symposium in 2010, 2011 and 2012 you will find here, including abstract & background booklet, program, pictures, videos, presentations, speakers’ statements, and the proceeding booklet.

In 2013 there will be SIP Focus Groups in Brussels on 14-15 May. For more information on the topics and speakers, please have a look into the Preliminary Programme SIP 2013 on this website.

Furthermore, you will find information on other events and congresses, such as EFIC 2011, where SIP was represented.
